Blue Spire Law PLLC is a multistate law firm serving clients across Florida and Texas, with an extended referral network throughout the South and Mid-Atlantic. Meet the Founder
Jerry Lee Hanbery
Jerry Lee Hanbery founded Blue Spire Law PLLC to bring a more practical, business-driven approach to legal services.
With more than 20 years of experience, Jerry has worked across business law, real estate law, construction law, and litigation, and has served in leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and General Counsel for companies ranging from mid-sized businesses to organizations valued in the billions.
He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree in Ethics from Yale University, and an MBA in Finance and Technology from the University of Connecticut. In addition to practicing law, he is also a licensed real estate broker, giving him direct insight into the operational and transactional realities his clients face.
Jerry’s path to law was not traditional. Before entering the legal profession, he spent years working across a wide range of roles, supporting himself from a young age and gaining firsthand experience in business operations, labor, and leadership. That background continues to shape how he approaches legal work today.
His philosophy is straightforward:
identify problems early, provide clear solutions, and help clients move forward with confidence.
